White Mulberry Seeds! 3 mulberry fruit clusters for $1.95 available in late summer only
Seen here is the exact tree producing these white mulberries. White mulberries are sweet and NON staining. It's the kind that you want to grow to raise silkworms on because of their larger leaves and hardiness.. to as low as -25F. We shook the ripened fruits off the branches and sun dried them as much as we could before the time of your order. Each fruit should have more than 25 seeds. These seeds are picked this season and will need to stratify before they can germinate. Basically, we try to assimilate mother nature as much as we can. Please google this information on stratification. Some publications says that a low percentage will germinate in the fall of the same yaer. However, to ensure higher chance of germination, it is highly suggested that you winterize these seeds in a dry, cool and dark place until Spring, like a garage or a refrigerator (careful with the fridge, as it may produce mold on the fruit clusters.) I am sending the seeds as they are embedded in the actual fruit (dried or moist) so that you know what you are getting. Filter out the seeds, or plant the entire fruit in the ground and thin out as necessary. OR, you may plant them in the ground right away and simply watch for growth next spring. Here is a reference you can use http://www.ehow.com/list_7455675_mulberry-tree-seeds.html However, none of the growth method is guaranteed.
